Feature Twirler Auditions Now Open!

The University of Washington Husky Marching Band has an anticipated opening for its Feature Twirler position starting Fall of 2027. This is a highly competitive, highly sought-after collegiate feature twirler position. Offering of this position will be contingent on the candidate’s admission to the University of Washington. The Feature Twirler is expected to perform at all UW Home Football games during the band pregame and halftime shows, at other events associated with gameday, at several university-sponsored events, and maintain a rigorous regional and national competition schedule.

The Feature Twirler position is a solo position, and is intended to highlight the skill, talent, and showmanship of that individual to add visual excitement to all Husky Band performances. Many of our past twirlers have placed consistently high at local, state, regional, and national competitions. We are looking for someone to uphold that tradition of excellence, and to continue to push the boundaries of showmanship and pageantry at the collegiate twirling level.
