HMBAA was created in 1966 by a group of Husky Marching Band alumni who wanted to stay connected after graduation and to establish a scholarship fund for the Varsity Band.

Torchlight Parade

Join us for our annual Varsity-Alumni performance at the Seafair Torchlight Parade on Saturday, July 25th. Rehearsal will be on Friday, July 24th from 6:45PM to 8:00PM behind the IMA and will include the traditional HMBAA BBQ afterwards.

Mariner's 50th Anniversary

Alumni, current members, and incoming rookies are invited to participate in a special Husky Band pregame performance at the Mariners’ 50th Anniversary celebration on Saturday, August 8, 2026! Participants must attend rehearsals on July 24 (5:00–6:30 p.m.) and August 2 (6:00–8:00 p.m.) at the UW Ballpark.

Homecoming Game
